im now making a sky city. somehow it looks like its floating, 42 hexagon buildings. connected by enclosed walkways.
Looks a bit like a giant flying geodesic dome! Buckminster Fuller had envisioned such floating structures due to the unique characteristics of geodesic domes, if the indoor temperatures was warmer than the surrounding air by just one degree (aka hot balloon effect). It was called Cloud Nine:

its probably a couple hundred years away of floating cities, it kinda sucks all we have closest to it is like the space needle. i never knew about flying geodesic dome's, ill add that in. have a big bubble at the top?
