You're talking to a guy who consumes A LOT of media. If I haven't watched it, I have almost certainly seen the trailer and passed. The past couple years movies have been bad. It's hard for me to even find a decent 8/10 anymore. It really doesn't have to be THC themed or anything, but I'm curious what you guys are liking. I'll start.

Love & Monsters - Pretty solid movie in the vein of Zombieland. The monsters could have been much cooler, but it's funny and good enough.
JoJo Rabbit - Might be my favorite movie in the last year. Really funny and creative indy comedy about a little boy in Hitler's Youth who has Hitler as an imaginary friend.
Bad Times At The El Royale - Slow at times, and probably shouldn't qualify for the list cause I think it's outside the 3 year window, but man, big fan.

What you got?

Not THC, but I liked Booksmart. Cool to have two girls be the focus, and to go against the trope of the shallow, evil, popular kids.

regarding Bad times at the El Royale - I got a weird subliminal or subtext from that movie. the way the hotel wings from the central reception and then the different stores in each wing - had me pondering over if it was representative of the 2 sides of the psyche or left right hemispheres and the characters and stories and the different neurosis and complexes fighting to find the Self. El Royale is a reference to Elohim royale is bloodlines

Outlaw King - netflix fact based movie on a scottish king called Robert the Bruce who defeated the English with an army of like 200, against 20,000

I've watched it so many times, it picks up after the time William Wallace aka brave heart dies. The underdog defeating the mighty British crown is just extremely satisfying.

Vivarium was a decent flick.
I like the idea of this parasitic species living symbiotically with mankind. If I am not mistaken the director said he was influenced by fae lore.

Watched Thrive 2 yesterday at last: they're putting it on for free for a limited time.

Verdict: it was better than expected, especially the visuals full of illustrations of concepts and the exploration of the Field (ie Nassim's Unified Field; free energy, health, sovereignty..)
Recommended it as a primer for those who are on the fence, even if certain political views at the end of the film are debatable. The graphics were done by Marshall Leffert, author of Cosmometry which is like the encyclopedia of Nassim's Field Theory.

The best part was that it featured a number of inventors of overunity devices and went on a global quest to go meet some of those people. Really cool, optimistic, and hopefully, the seeds will spread and sow as they are meant to.

*you need a free account, I think. Gives great resources also

As for great films, a recent good one I saw was "The man who sold his skin" (2020), a great satire of the modern world through the eyes of a Syrian refugee in Europe. Refrshing, and this film will probably get more recognition soon.

I watched the Courier 2021 based on a true story . and it was a brilliant character driven movie
official trailer.
good old bendict cumberbatch hits it our the park - the the scene of him in prison during his wifes first and only visit will have you holding back the tears just like the 2 on screen, well i did.

This vid compares the true story and the movie so - although a couple reveals if you have no idea of the story, it does give a a great over view of the actors and how bloody good they are

Just want to throw it out there that The Righteous Gemstones is well worth a watch for a good laugh.
