The blue blood topic is interesting. I'm a fan a show called Carnivale put out by HBO 20+ years ago. Without getting deep in it's mythos, there are human avatars of good and evil that war every generation. When they attain their powers from the preceding avatars who they must slay, their blood turns blue. Figured it would be of interest.
