What does this mean and why do I keep hearing it on different podcasts? Is this a bible quote? A flat earth quote? The last guest also said it during an explanation and I am like why does this saying keep getting brought up as fact and glossed over. Where did it originate? How do we know it’s true?

It is an alchemical text. I guess a deep dive into the occult would help but there seems to be multiple interpretations:
Man is the microcosm of God
The Microcosm and Macrocosm mirror each other (think the structure of an atom compared to the structure of solar systems)
What happens on Earth mirrors what happens in higher dimensions.
The constellations signal events on earth.
One can go on forever
