Definitely a cheeky copyright thing. The author is a quite cheeky Englishman, and he does encourage the free sharing of his materials.
The book is very informative and practical, but those already familiar with Kabbalah will notice that his tree of life differs from the more traditional version. This is because he built his upon Timothy Leary's neurological circuit model.
Funny enough, just this morning I discovered a book from 1989 with the title 'All Rites Reversed ' with an introduction by Robert Anton Wilson. I suspect this is where Harris got the inspiration for the phrase.
