What was a simple idea in my head of taking a solid 5-10 min clip from every Gordon appearance on THC, in actuality quickly became not so simple. Some segments were hard to reduce down to only 10 minutes, and other episodes were so rooted in the politics/machinations of the time they were recorded that I didn’t want any clips to see outdated or no longer relevant.
Those shows contain a lot of gems, but for this, I tried to stick to what I consider most of Gordon’s “timeless wisdom” so that it can easily be listened to anytime down the road. Some segments are 5 mins, some are 30. Who cares, right?
So after a lengthy update on what we now know about Gordon’s final adventure, his passing, and the many synchronicities that both brought us together and also showed up in the aftermath of his exit, I gathered the majority of my favorite clips from his appearances into one epically long special.
I hope people who enjoyed listening to Gordon wax on about a wide variety of subjects like I did, will find this cathartic.
