Has anyone else took the time to listen to music with a conspiratorial mindset? We all know about the "bustle in the hedgerow" and hidden meanings in some of the more popular songs, but we need to take the time to hear what other artists have been telling us over the years. My fascination with this started with Ozzy Osbourne's, Mr. Crowley. After listening to one of my first episodes of THC regarding Crowley and magic, I made a connection to one of my favorite songs as a kid and realized that Ozzy had been talking about none other than Aleister Crowley. Take a look at these lyrics and lets see if there are some things we can pull from them to make the case that the prince of darkness may know more than he is given credit for! The lyrics are posted below.

Mr. Crowley, what went on in your head?
Oh, Mr. Crowley, did you talk to the dead?
Your life style to me seemed so tragic
With the thrill of it all
You fooled all the people with magic
Yeah, you waited on Satan's call

Mr. Charming, did you think you were pure?
Mr. Alarming, in nocturnal rapport
Uncovering things that were sacred
Manifest on this Earth
Conceived in the eye of a secret
And they scattered the afterbirth

Mr. Crowley, won't you ride my white horse?
Mr. Crowley, it's symbolic, of course
Approaching a time that is classic
I hear that maidens call
Approaching a time that is drastic
Standing with their backs to the wall

Was it polemically sent
l want to know what you meant
I want to know, I want to know what you meant, yeah
