Couldn't care less about the video personally but to anyone his/her own preference.

Ads ? Personally I listen to podcasts while doing various chores and can't stand having to get my phone out of my pocket to fast forward ads or recurring self promotion. I tolerate them only if they are at one of both ends of a show so I can skip them easily.

And no ads for the paid subscribers, I guess this is obvious but not all show subscriptions work this way. I would never pay for a show, say a youtube channel, that do not offer an ad free version for paid subscribers, you have to choose one stream of revenue.

And no I will never buy "super manhood pills", "miracle rejuvenation" devices or other preppers shits, but I guess that's not the point 😉

I don't think the video adds anything for me (except the cool intro song video lol).  I listened to the inaugural ep and then watched it, and I liked the audio only version better, or to be more precise didn't find the video better in any way and I prefer using my podcast app.  Here are my thoughts:

- Kudos for not forcing the video on plus members.  I will continue listening and love that others can watch if they want to

- I noticed the lack of editing, but only because you mentioned it would be gone.  Had I not known to listen for it I would not have noticed.  I wonder if this will become more apparent when you work with less fluid guests or when you don't feel as comfortable.  Time will tell

- Sound quality was slightly worse.  Nothing I would stop listening or paying for

- Studio looked cool, if I were a video guy I guess it would meet my expectations

Overall I hope this puts more bread on your table and gives all of us more guests.  As for ads, I have no issue with you doing ads.  No Agenda says they don't do ads, but they absolutely advertise for Linda Lupatkin and I actually called her for a quote because of it.  My only issue is with the youtube style ads that interrupt the flow.  Do live-read ads at the very start and end of the podcast.  OR, have a first and second half sponsor. Now that you are not editing the content, it may actually be cool to have a clear first vs second half demarcation.  It would make my monthly investment apparent when you break into "the second half of the show, the plus subscriber content, is sponsored by..." and I know I am about to get the stuff other people won't hear.  Repeat guests know they can cut loose in the second half content so this would also signal to them they can let their hair down.

To me sound quality is more important. However I do think Danny Jones is slick visually.
