Music Question for Greg and Long TIme Listeners
This is my first post on this form and I would like to start out with how much I am a fan of this show. I can honestly say this is the best podcast show that I have ever listened to. I am particularly fond of the music (both intro and outtro) as they are just so catchy, relevant, and creative. Even the AI videos are pretty awesome but I've already found the thread that talks about that.
My question is if there is a thread where people share music (I looked and couldn't find one) because I always am looking for artists that already sing about topics that are THC adjacent. There aren't many but I appreciate the music that is because I love spreading the shit out of when it just hits that mark for me. A little help from THC and listening to a couple DUB FX albumns inspired me to make this post in the first place since it's music I could almost see as being featured at the end of some of the shows. This made me wonder if Greg has ever had any music artists on the show and/or if he has at least reached out to see if a song he really liked could be used on the show. Then I started wondering who those artists could be and if anyone has music that the rest of us would like to check out.
Other artists I can think of are Poor Man's Poison or any Jessie Wells song. This kind of a parallel topic from an episode of the Corbett Report talking about "truth music." if anyone watched that and had the same thought as I, then you realized there are artists out there that are just as tuned into these things.
Anyway, I think it would be something worth talking about. I would love to hear people's thoughts on these ideas.
I'm happy to reply to my new comment because due to the new format, this is actually something that could happen. I didn't realize how strict Greg is on the show format and keeping within a range of topics until he started voicing his thoughts about the change and the challenges he faced in the decision. I'm happy to be along for the ride in the THC community. Looking forward to what the future brings.
Also, does anyone know what Greg uses for AI music at this time. I'm sure it's always changing but just curious. I like the idea of using it for birthday songs.
If anyone comes across this, please feel free to answer even if it's years later.
I used to make some pretty challenging (to listen to!) music with some relevant themes. Probably not what you're looking for, but this song, the Martial Law Suite, circa mid-2000's Alex Jones inspired conspiracy era might be of interest.

@fowl That was pretty cool. I liked that. It's something that I would have played on my overnight shift at the local community radio station when I was a volunteer dj. I liked that era of AJ. Hearing that clip reminded me of when I saw him featured in the movie A Scanner Darkly.
@giffy Ah nice ya thanks! That clip at the end, I was going to edit some choice words from Jones to go over that end section, but as an experiment I plopped that bullhorn rant from Ottawa Bilderberg meeting over it, and it just syncced perfectly, with the crowd there clapping just as the song ended, so seems like it was meant to be.
