I really like the occult shows, not only are the uests all very well informed about their topics, but Greg has an earnest interest that makes for very authentic conversations that strive for coherency while still trying to explore the topic in depth.
So I'm putting up Benebelle Wen because shes a voice we haven't heard from yet. As in,shes deeply knowledgeable about many of the various Chinese magical traditions and cultural beliefs, shes so thorough in this that Ive never come across another fountain of knowledge on it like her in my entire life of being fascinated by, primarily eastern, magic. What's more she's not a PhD reading a book in an office some where written by someone's else in their office, not to be too harsh on that kind of study, but she practices in her personal daily life and for others and that must lend a more nuanced and intimate understanding.
Additionally shes familiar with most of the modern occult scene and doesn't shy from practices that aren't Chinese, she's actually a working tarot reader as well.
We've heard a lot about grimoires, and quantum physics matrices, geomancy, the wierd reality of what water is up to, plenty of good, solid, well stated conversations on the wider subject of the occult and magic, but we haven't heard from a Tao specialist, we haven't heard from a Chinese specialist (and it's a HUGE piece of land) and it's always nice to hear from a working occultist when you can find one!
She's got a YouTube channel I linked abov. It's pretty extensive. You can see what she talks about and how well she does so. It's not just the knowledge and experience, she's a personality and I feel like a conversation between her and Greg would be absolutely charming and immensely informative at the same time.
