Why:
Both long practicing magicians/occultists who have a unique slant towards using magical techniques to attain "awakening". They both have a long, public track record regarding their workings (successes and failures). They did, at least at one point, also have a similar conspiratorial interest in things. They are very well regarded by most in the magical field and have come up with some very unique insights into our world, reality etc.
Alan Chapman is very heavily focused on enlightenment, the use of magic towards that aim and rebuilding a kind of western practice/tradition towards this end.
Duncan has an interest in similar things, however, he seems to me to be more focused on paranormal phenomenon. He's also a therapist.
They both like to cut through jargon and present these topics simply and straightforward.
Both of them have been working very hard on Alister Crowley's materials, works and practices. I think this is mainly lead by Alan, but I could be wrong. If you really wanted an interesting and in depth look into A. Crowley and his work/beliefs and even the controversial more conspiratorial aspects, I think Alan would be a great source.
Both of them together, they're old buddies, so they have a really great vibe. They have done a number of their own podcasts together in the past, as well as appear together and alone on various other shows.
I would love to hear you get together with both or one or the other. I suspect the focus would be edging towards magic practices but they are both aware of the more conspiratorial things as well.
