So I've listened to half the episode Greg recently did with the Occult Rejects and it most definitely was a soft ambush.
I've been listening to the OR for about two years. Awhile back they did a few episodes on a guy named Matthew North who completely disappeared from the internet. North was exposing the moneyed network that he claimed was supporting Rogan and the lesser podcasters (Tripoli, for example) who deal in conspiracy.
Greg was briefly mentioned in one of the episodes and they made a remark seemingly out of disgust when his name was brought up. Which is why I was surprised when this interview popped up on my feed. I don't know if they have changed their views on Greg. I do think it is wise to be skeptical of podcasters especially in the conspiracy scene. But I think Greg is right too. Some of it is just sour grapes. I also think it was sort of a "gotcha" interview. It came off as a soft ambush to me.
