My sympathy to Greg for the loss of a true friend.
I actually found THC in the first place because I heard Gordon on a different podcast and went looking for more interviews with him.
I will miss hearing Gordon's hilarious, intelligent, and mildly offensive takes on everything. I'm sad that I'll never get to hear another new episode with him.
It all seems very parasocial on the surface, but the thing about Gordon was that he didn't do any of it as a job, he actually cared about the people he reached, and genuinely wanted to offer people better ways of living in the world. His loss leaves a big hole.

My condolences to you, Greg. The pain we feel for the loss of Gordon and for you is a testament to the kind of community the both of you have helped foster, and I am excited to see where you take it, your boots upon this ground and Gordon's traveling elsewhere, but no doubt in sync. Sorry for your tremendous loss.
