I get annoyed when researchers say, "I don't know anyone who watches so-and-so, but so-and-so gets millions of views every week"
Well for one, I watch so-and-so. And the traffic on so-and-so's live shows are very heavy. I realize so-and-so is not for everyone but so-and-so is very popular and very big.
Quit being disingenuous and quit lying to yourself.
It's kind of like when Tripoli calls Lex Friedman boring. I happen to like Lex Friedman.

Edit: I enjoyed the episode and share 7Sees incredulousness. I just don't like that particular example when one dismisses the success of a certain content creator.
