John P Timmerman was a UFO researcher that spent 12 years (1980-1992) traveling across the US interviewing people at shopping malls about their experiences. He reportedly amassed 120 tapes of recorded interviews. BBC radio 4 released a program called “we are not alone” on their show Illuminated that sampled some of these fascinating encounters and can be found here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0023x45
However, I haven’t found anywhere online where the rest of the tapes have been published. I’d like you to ask Richard 1) did he know Mr. Timmerman before he passed and 2) if there’s been any attempt to acquire and release the rest of the tapes?
I think it would be a fascinating archive to pore over and would provide key insights into the phenomena from first-hand accounts before the age of the internet.
